"Rooted In Love" Original Painting on 36x36 Inches Canvas
"Rooted In Love" Original Painting on 36x36 Inches Canvas
Behold, a canvas of most wondrous art,
Where two entwined do share a single heart.
Their forms, as ebon night, in beauty stand,
Whilst roses crown their heads with colors grand.
A bold, bright orange doth the background hue,
Against which love's transparency is brought to view.
Their bodies, rooted deep in earthly ground,
In tender embrace are tightly bound.
These lovers' forms, with roots so intertwined,
Speak of a bond that cannot be confined.
From depths of soil, their union doth arise,
And blooms in petals reaching to the skies.
Fair roses, symbols of their growing love,
Like stars, do shine in heavens high above.
Their roots, though twisted, hold them ever near,
In joy and sorrow, laughter and in tear.
Such art doth tell of love's enduring might,
In darkest times, it finds its way to light.
Oh, wondrous painting, on this wall thou art,
A testament to love's eternal heart.
Herein, a tale of passion, growth, and grace,
A masterpiece that time cannot erase.
Forsooth, in these two forms, we see it clear,
The beauty of true love through roots forever here.
Springinwinter Gallery proudly presents this artwork "rooted in love" to depict how flora expresses their love and eternal connection for one another through their roots. This painting is a reflection of nature's expression of love through human emotions - which is pure and lucid. Human beings are intrinsically connected to their roots in multifaceted ways that influence their identity, sense of belonging, and personal growth. Recognizing and appreciating these connections helps individuals understand themselves better and navigate their lives with a deeper sense of purpose. The painting beautifully captures this intricate web of connections, reminding art enthusiasts of the importance and beauty of staying rooted while reaching out to form meaningful relationships. The painting with the intertwined roots and blooming roses is a vivid metaphor for these connections to one's past, family, culture, and history. The artist captured this transformation on canvas, the figures representing the rose plants turned human, and their connection is now a testament to the enduring power of love. The roots, which once searched in isolation, now thrive in unity, drawing strength from the bond they share. The figures in the painting, dark and ethereal, stands facing each other, their features merging seamlessly as they lean in for their first kiss. The roots act as human veins, gushing blood out of nervousness and excitement that they have contemplated for years. Their bodies, intertwined with intricate roots, suggest a transparent, deep and unbreakable connection.
As a contemporary expressionist artist, Joy uses brushstrokes and his unique style to work with acrylics together to create a powerful visual narrative. The meticulous detailing of the figures and roses draws art enthusiasts into the intimate connection between the two subjects, while the bold background and surreal elements invite contemplation and interpretation. The figures are rendered with smooth, flowing brushstrokes that highlight the contours of their bodies to signify transparency in their relationship. The strokes are precise, giving the figures a sleek, almost metallic sheen. The roots, which intertwine and merge with the figures' bodies, are painted with fine, intricate patterns creating a sense of movement and connectivity, emphasizing the organic, living nature of the roots. The use of darker tones and shading on the figures and roots adds a three-dimensional quality, making them appear as if they are emerging from the canvas. The result is a piece that is both visually stunning and deeply evocative, capturing the essence of human connection and love in a unique and memorable way. This artwork captures the emotions of our first kiss!
The artist does not see this painting as a decorative item, but rather as an incandescent for sparking meaningful conversations. A picture of this caliber should evoke a deep emotional response from art enthusiasts and collectors.
About the Original Painting
Joy, the artist, produced this single-piece original painting in May 2024. The painting was done on a 36x36 inches stretched canvas using acrylic paint. The canvas is made with archival-quality natural cotton, this heavy duty canvas was four times gesso primed by the artist before starting the work. The medium/rough texture surface of the canvas is perfect for use with acrylic, and the frame is professionally constructed, with medium-weight cotton duck stretched around 1.5" profile kiln-dried stretcher bars and held in place with a flexible spline, so artists can paint on all four edges. Once finished, the artist applied two coats of archival gloss varnish for lifelong protection.
