36x36 Inches Original Art

In fairer days where shadows softly fall,
Three butterfly sisters dwelt in peace, their beauty bright,
Their countenance serene, celestial call,
In azure hues, they bathed in moonlit light.

Fair Lull, the eldest, wisdom on her brow,
With butterflies of midnight's gentle hue,
Doth whisper dreams as soft as zephyr’s blow,
Her eyes, though closed, see far beyond our view.

Sweet Harmony, the middle sister's grace,
Her soul a balance, like the evening star,
With wings of blue, she dances in her space,
Her heart a melody from lands afar.

Bliss, youngest born, in laughter's purest song,
With butterflies as light as morning dew,
Doth spread her joy where she doth move along,
A beacon bright, her spirit ever true.

Despite their differences, together they, in silence, do repose,
Their dreams entwined in threads of tender night,
As butterflies around them softly pose,
They share a boundless bond that glows in silver light.

Oh, gentle lullaby, where peace doth reign,
Where sisters three in harmony abide,
Their love a tale that time cannot restrain,
Their spirits soar on wings spread far and wide.

In azure dream, sisterhood shall remain,
A chronicle of love, both pure and deep,
A lullaby that soothes all earthly pain,
In tranquil night, their legacy shall sleep.

This artwork is another exquisite piece in shades of blue, captures the serene beauty of three ethereal butterfly sisters, each adorned with their kind. The painting presents a trio of strong women, their eyes closed in peaceful contemplation, as if lost in a shared, silent reverie. Each woman has a distinct yet harmonious expression, their eyes closed as if in a state of meditative tranquility. Their features are painted with gentle, flowing lines, emphasizing their serene and otherworldly beauty. The artist's delicate acrylic brushstrokes create a soft and dreamlike visual art, enhancing the ethereal atmosphere of the piece.

Joy, the artist yet again, created this masterpiece by expressing sisterly love among butterflies replicated through human expressions. The dominant color palette consists of various shades of blue, from deep navy to light azure. These hues create a soothing and calming effect, evoking a sense of peace and introspection. The background is a gradient of blues, transitioning smoothly and providing a serene backdrop that complements the tranquility of the figures. The use of blue also symbolizes depth, wisdom, and trust, reinforcing the peaceful and contemplative mood of the painting.

The artist dedicates this piece to sisterhood. Sisterhood is a profound and enduring bond that transcends the boundaries of blood relations, encompassing the essence of solidarity, empathy, and unwavering support. It is the shared journey of women who uplift and empower one another, creating a tapestry of mutual respect and understanding. In sisterhood, happiness multiplies, and sorrows are reduced, as each member stands as a pillar of strength during times of triumph and tribulation. This sacred connection fosters a sense of belonging and security, where the voices of each woman are heard and valued. Through laughter and tears, challenges and victories, sisterhood embodies the spirit of unity and love, reminding us that together, we are stronger, and our collective resilience can overcome any obstacle. Every connection between women, be it mother-daughter relationships, connections between girlfriends, sisters, lovers, and more, will connect with this artwork.

The artist does not see this painting as a decorative item, but rather as an incandescent for sparking meaningful conversations. A picture of this caliber should evoke a deep emotional response from art enthusiasts and collectors.

About the Original Painting

Joy, the artist, produced this single-piece original painting in June 2024. The painting was done on a 36x36 inches stretched canvas using acrylic paint. The canvas is made with archival-quality natural cotton, this heavy duty canvas was four times gesso primed by the artist before starting the work. The medium/rough texture surface of the canvas is perfect for use with acrylic, and the frame is professionally constructed, with medium-weight cotton duck stretched around 1.5" profile kiln-dried stretcher bars and held in place with a flexible spline, so artists can paint on all four edges. Once finished, the artist applied two coats of archival gloss varnish for lifelong protection.
