From the series Together, Again, the artist recalls an eccentric memory: three best friends, dressed as bridesmaids, venturing out with wide-eyed determination in search of the world’s finest cupcakes. Their adventure was made all the more intoxicating by the fact that it was their first experience together with champagne, a sparkling rite of passage that blurred the edges of intention and decorum. What began as a ceremonial day of elegance quickly transformed into a playful odyssey, guided more by curiosity and momentary craving than by any formal purpose.

Rendered with warmth and gentle humor, the painting captures the intoxicating thrill of youthful misadventure. Their expressions reveal delight and a tender surrender to spontaneity, evoking the universal experience of losing oneself in pursuit of simple joys. True friendship is the courage to follow the unknown, trusting that even in the fall, they go down together.
